By Road from Melbourne-or travelling from the West: Leave the Freeway at the third Morwell exit, which is marked Powerworks: Follow the signs for Powerworks or Mine and Power Station Tours. Look for the Coal Dredger at the entrance to the Powerworks Drive.

From the East: After leaving Traralgon and approaching Morwell (but do not take the road to Morwell) enter the M1 Freeway to Melbourne that bypasses Morwell and look for the Powerworks or Mine and Power Station Tours signs.

By Rail: Travel to Morwell Railway Station (frequent trains from Melbourne) and take a taxi to Powerworks (about 2Km). If you ring Powerworks before you arrive, Powerworks will arrange to meet the train.
