PowerWorks will showcase the Victorian brown coal industry and promote its contribution to the State’s economy.

Our Mission

To showcase the Victorian brown coal industry by:

- Educating the community on the sustainable use of brown coal including alternative uses and new technologies
- Educating the community on the value of brown coal in the context of other electricity generation sources
- Promoting the industry to its future workforce
- Promoting the importance of brown coal to Victoria’s economy
- Promoting the positive impacts of the industry on the Gippsland region, including environmental and social aspects.
